From storage the front fresh air box had water trapped in it and it had a bad case of rot. Search in New Zealand for a section but non were available. Managed to get a section from the UK now just waiting to get it shipped to NZ from the UK.

Spotted one of my long lost beach bums the SPARK Kombi WiFi Bus going around New Zealand on the #endlesssummerNZ

It all started with at 1970’s Beetle I bought way back in 1989.

What is the true image that springs to mind when you think of Kombis? Bullets List : Bikini skinny girls Toned surfer dudes 40 year old blokes with grubby hands  

The Kombi fits nice and snug under the carport at the rental house, but was a little to big to go in the garage.  Would need to drop it to get it in the garage.

Well after a session at the MAF it got its green sticker and was delivered to where we are renting.  With a little help from one of the club members she is under the car port nice and dry.

So after 3 months of getting sea sick, sat in a container on the sea from the UK all the way to Auckland NZ the van finally arrived.  First off was getting through the MAF inspection to make sure their was no insects, they found nothing not even a beetle.    

Well the wife sent me this photo of the Kombi getting packed up with the rest of the household possessions as we emigrate from the UK to NZ. She was threatening for it to be scraped but it went into the 40ft container ready for its long journey to Auckland New Zealand.
